Anyone know whats happened at bluekipper ? seems a load of mods have left and set up another site L.A.S.H lets all stay here ,or something similar.

Kipper of late has slipped into "Peoples forum" mode, that being intolerant of different opinions (PF are anti Kirkby to the max). It really needs a touch of GOT, even though this forum could be poisoned by the Kirkby debate.
 
the nets are set and the kippers wont ruin this place, as the saying goes " there's no smoke without kippers" a few 1st time posters of late have been totally anti kirkby in the way that you describe so its upto the rest of us to have em on toast, at the moment every thread seems to be getting turned into an anti kirkby thread when the main issues are being ignored.
those being.....fruit on pizza, and pasties.
 
Sorry guys ,am never one to rock the boat,for the record i'am pro kirkby.
Though not a prolific poster on here i do visit the forum most daysas a browser.

thats just it at the moment , all sites have joined a camp ,pro-kirkby or anti -kirkby.
this has left little room for debate on forums and all sites have become a witch hunt for opposing thoughts.

thats why G.O.T is the best of the lot imo.
if you have an opinion ,its respected even if it isnt agreed with.
great members ,great debates, great opinions , thought out arguments !

this is a great forum !

ps does that mean we are the master debaters ?:D:D:D

Maybe this will give some Kipper regulars a chance to find out that there are some very good Everton forum alternatives. Namely GOT.

i'm a regular on bk, but not quite so much nowadays as i quite like it in here as well. there's no harm in people debating the issues relating to the kirkby proposal, whether pro- or anti- so long as they can do so in a reasonable manner. we won't really know the truth of it until & unless it's actually built. anyway, i like to keep tabs on the bk relocation forum to see if i can spot halewood blue's latest incarnation. :)
 
I've tried BK twice in the past and the level of spam, junk, crass posts, bad language, slagging off etc I ended up posting twice in total I think and leaving.

Let's hope we don't their gobby cast offs though.

I'm a BK exile after 5 years.

Lets just say I feel safer on here. And am growing to love GOT mainly because of the respect people show each other, even in heated debates it doesn't get personal and there arn't "clan" like groups rampaging round the forum totally unopposed.

Also the mods are unbiased.

So am growing to love GOT and the fact that respect seems to be cultural in here. i.e. part of the site.

So a big thanks to allowing people like me onto your forum.
