on the os, saying the fans will vote early next month on the new ground issue, with the result being known by the end of august

i am expecting everton to begin releasing details of the prposed move soon, otherwise, how could you you vote for something that you dont know anything about

i would like to know:
size of ground
style of ground
cost of ground
cost of infastructure
ownership of ground
financing of ground
who owns proposed hotel

these are just off the top of my head and i am sure others will have other worries

not sure if knowsley residents are to get a ballot off the council

i cant see us getting much of that mate
i guess it will say move to new 55,000 seater stadium in kirkby
or stay at goodison

There has to be plans! The risk they run by not showing us anything, is people can assume the worst, and when we aren't playing, the pitch will be used for overflow parking for the new Tesco.

If it is something worth moving for, then they will show off the concepts and show us what we could get. If, we get the checks in all the blocks, then people will go for it.

But, at a minimum, I would want the questions Chris has posed to be answered.

Does anyone think that such a vote will make any difference to the Board's plans. I shudder now at what is happening. We will be in Kirkby with a ground to seat a max of 55,000 and cannot expand and the other lot have submitted plans for a capacity of 60,000 with the space to enlarge that to take 80,000.

I cannot begin to explain adequately how tis makes me feel, we will be a small club in comparison to that and it's earning potential not to mention they are within the city boundary.:o :(

this vote malarky is an exercise in excuse making.

we vote yes = its us the fans fault if kirkby doesnt work
we vote no = opportunity for the board to blame no new stadium on lack of funds

If the club are really serious, then each vote sent out to those allowed will include a dossier containing actual plans and designs as well as some fine print about grounds in kirkby, and who will own the associated businesses.

I will be mighty unimpressed if hotels, restaurants, shoppign centres, tescos, casinos and recreation centres get the masses pulled into them on our clubs back.

It cant just be a stadium, because all along the anti goodison redevelopment has sang "no room for associated businesses"

Cant have it both ways, not now, not ever.

Before voting, id like to see not just the blueprints from weeks ago, but something like a promotional video, like they did with the kings dock, just so we can see what the stadium will be like in 3d coulor, and what the surrounding shops would look like also.

Just read on kipper that the plans n stuff will be sent out with the voting ballots...

the above of the stadium from blueprints doesnt look bad, different from other clubs...

i did have a big picture, but i cant find it...

The stadium is not a round shitty stadium like man city, or bolton, its different, and i think is going to be a good one, the only thing that worries me is the stuff surrounding it!
