"We have sold Ross to Port Vale because he wants a new challenge. But okay, that's football."

That dangerous and that much of a threat to him that he's out in town every other week. Ok mate x
As I've already said, I'm not saying that's the reason - I've got no idea because I don't know the lad. I do know a few people have been mixed up with some rather unsavoury characters though, and suggesting that moving a couple of miles down the road or hiring a meathead as backup would sort out the problem is astoundingly naïve.

So moving down to the smoke makes these bad lads suddenly disappear into the ether then?

If someone wanted to really mess him up it'd have happened by now, as he's hardly flying under the radar ffs.

Wind and piss.

at the end of the day its his career not ours, he thinks he is making the best move for him.
we know he is making a bad decision but he doing whats best for him, not bothered him
going as we are bringing in new players and moving forward. will be sad to see Ross
at another team but I won't boo him, I will just feel pity and be made up we smash the side
he playing for

I am pretty sure some people said the same when Jeffers, Rodwell, Pienaar and Stones left.

Rooney, Lescott and Fellaini on the other hand won things which justified their moves.
Jeffers and rodwell were crocked when we sold them - pieneer we bought back - Stones has played in a team higher than us!

Jeffers and Rodwell both left to teams that were higher than us though Joey. Didn't work out for them and I remain unconvinced it won't happen again to Stones in time.

P
The scapegoaters will regret this when he performs better in a better midfield!
I wish him all the best sad to see him go in these circumstances it will be our loss I tell you that in confidence!
Problem is Joey he wants to go and there is nothing we can do about it. From a football side of things it's no great loss to Everton, and as you have said there seems to be issues away from the game.
On a personal level I hope he is OK, There are a lot of nutters around Liverpool and if has got mixed up with some it's a real shame

What I mean is grass not always greener. For me he is more on Pienaar side than on Rooney side.

He is leaving for personal reasons - family being threatened etc. Funnily enough one of those responsible just got arrested at Manny airport yesterday!!
