Player Valuation: £80m
The only reason why I watched the Fior-Bayern match becasue he was starting.....I have no life. For 50 minutes Krodulp was the worst player on the pitch by far. He gives up a pen and hoofs the ball Then he scores a goal which well could have been scored by any human being with 2 legs. After that though he was excellent and produced a sweet tackle that saved a goal.

I remember we got rid of him because quote "he doesn't know how to head the ball" has weight given that on corners he's platooned on the outskits of the box. I did see him actually head the ball twice in 3 minutes but that was when there was no one around him w/in 10 yards and it didnt go exactly where it was aiming.

Strange match. Some of Frey's saves gave me nightmare flashbacks. I remember telling myself how much I love Ribery, becasue he always works hard and never goes to ground. Then he flings himself to the turf so blatently that even Gerrard wouldn't have even attempted it. The Norwegian ref called that match like he was PO'ed that Fiorteina helped knocked out Liverpool.

Well I did actually see him head the ball TWICE in the span of 3 minutes. There was no player w/in 10 yards of him though and well it didn't exactly go where he wanted.

This is only the first time I saw him but it appears like he does have some talent (his goal saving tackle in the 2nd half was one of the best tackles I've seen all year) when he doesn't appear to be totally inept.

I remember reading articles from neutral journos who thought getting Krodulp and VDM where steals for the prices we got them at.

Frey was good. Made a couple sick saves on Robben. Got hosed on the 2nd goal in which Klose was only 81 yards off-side.

Watched part of the Sampdoria vs. Fiorentina match this past weekend and Kroldrup did ok.

I still don't think he was given a fair shot here but it's all water under the bridge now. Heck, he's playing Champions League football, something he wasn't gonna do with us.

His game probably isn't suited for the prem. Denmark made the WC and their defensive record is quality so he must not be too bad. Apparently from what I heard he was a rock at Udinese. He probably didn't get a chance to show what he could do and came in at a bad time when we were mired in the relegation zone for a good 3 months and couldn't afford to let him learn on the job.

I've never seen a center half deployed on the outskirts of the box defending corners though. I would like to see a training video of him trying to head the ball for comedic value.
