Last Film You Watched

Saw this one in the cinema last year but received the Blu-ray yesterday, so have just given it a re-watch. If you've seen any of Gaspar Noe's other films then you'll know what you're getting into here... this, like all of his work, is a pretty messed-up film which has style to burn. It's basically about a dance troupe who descend into a nightmare after their drinks are spiked with acid. It has a great soundtrack, an amazing opening dance sequence, plus the excellent Sofia Boutella (from Hotel Artemis, Star Trek Beyond and the Tom Cruise reboot of The Mummy).

Don't really watch many series tbh mate, but I know there's stuff like The Walking Dead on there if you haven't seen it.

But some other films that are on there you might want to look at:

Manchester by the Sea
Detroit
The Death of Stalin
The Florida Project
The Ritual
Beast
I, Tonya
The Post

Watched this last night - thought-provoking, rather sad in the end...

Finally watch the Han Solo movie (despite being a big Star Wars fan, I really wasn't bothered watching this till it made it to TV)...

Didn't understand Darth Maul being in it.l, or why the the coaxium shipment Woody Harrelson was trying to rob was being transported by Train and not a spaceship?!...

Thought the cast did well, but it oddly never felt like a star wars movie to me (mainly because I was never gonna except another actor being Han Solo, the dark cinematography)....

Not terrible, but not memorable either...

Not my usual sort of film but decent enough. Aliens have landed and they hunt purely by sound so no-one talks for a good three quarters of an hour and it's a nightmare keeping the kids quiet. Some genuine moments of suspense and Emily Blunt.

Spanish film "the body "
About a body that disappears from the police morgue
And the complex stories regarding her murder or not
And the increasing obvious guilt of her husband
You won't see the twists coming
Very good
