Last Film You Watched

Wathed 127 hours again before, honest I don't think I've seen anything that stairs up a full range of emotions like this does.
Fella stuck in a rock, such a good film.

Velvet buzzsaw,I enjoyed it though its difficult to explain it,is it a horror or is it showing how shallow the art world is? Some people will love it others hate it,rather like Lobster it will appeal or you will be WTF

Went to see this last night ;

Destroyer.

A barely recognisable Nicole Kidman plays a bent, burnt out, alcoholic Detective blazing a trail of revenge.

The film starts with the end at the beginning and works its way to the initial incident that kicked everything off.

Nice little twist at the end of the film too.

It’s a very good film and Kidman will probably win awards, but it’s very slow and requires full attention.
Just been to see it, thought it was very good.

Finally got around to watching this. It was up there with The Descent for British horror right up until a fairly anti-climactic ending. Endings seem to be a problem in general for this type of horror film though. Still it has an effective narrative with a great atmosphere and use of location. The events that kick off the film and the subsequent exploration of the characters in the aftermath of a tragedy (trying to avoid spoilers here) were quite interesting as well. A definite 7-7.5/10.

They had a good go with the film, but the book is much much better.
