Galaxy Quest.

It's... erm... dunno, not 'good' but not 'bad'. Maybe if I liked Star Trek I'd rate it more highly. Cult classic feel to it in many ways but doesn't quite hit the mark.

Alan Rickman is great as always in it, and it has big boobed blonde Sigourney Weaver. Who is now 71 years old, just to make you feel old.

I don't think I really, really liked any movie Tim Allen is visually in. This is probably the only one where he hasn't outright annoyed me though.

Promising Young Woman.

Good, not great. Felt like it didn't quite fully commit to what it was trying to be and ended up in no man's land.

Genuinely thought it was going to turn out to be a Harley Quinn origin story at one point.

Just watched The Good the Bad & the Ugly on Paramount TV a remastered version by Clint Eastwood & co from 2005 from the original in 1966,
Seen it before of course, but what a brilliant western that really was - Oh 7 the theme music which got to no 1 in the charts at the time -
a classic film imo - it was brilliant to see it again .....
For me the graveyard stand off with Blondie, Angel Eyes and Tucco is movie perfection.

The framing, the close ups, the music, the way the tension ratchets up is 2nd to none.

Netflix has a documentary called Sad Hill Unearthed about a group of fans who excavated the site through donations. (after donating you got a wooden cross with your name placed at one of the graves, very cool.)

I was most disappointed to discover it was a 10 minute detour from the route I drove from Santander to Madrid. Will definitely visit next time now I know it's there.

That Lee Van Cleefe a great actor in all the Spaghetti Westerns, but the guy who played Tuco was just as great.....
To think James Coburn was offered Clint Eastwood's part from day one in all the Spaghetti Westerns, accepted it then found out how poor the pay was as he rejected the part instantly......
A star was born from Rawhide enter - Clint Eastwood......

@arch stanton would be spinning in his grave.

Watched the latest Bruce Willis offering last night - 'Cosmic Sin'. OMG it was possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The acting was just awful, the script dreadful and the editing was astonishingly bad (you don't notice editing until its bad). The plot was interesting but so badly delivered and full of holes with unexplained dream sequences and flashbacks everywhere.
It is almost worth watching for how bad it is. even my son who is a big sci-fi fantasy fan got up and walked out half way through, and this was at home!!

Be warned!
