Shia LaBeouf annoyed pretty much the whole cast and crew by taking method to a whole new level, refusing to wash as though he was actually in a tank at war. Rumoured he even pulled one of his own teeth out.

Weirdo.
Total egotist that one. Thinks he’s James Stewart or something. Never enjoyed any of his roles and comes across as a tool outside of movies. Also some very nasty allegations levelled at him.

@PITA watched this today - outstanding but a tough watch. ( Italian with subs )

Dramatisation of the wrongful arrest and the subsequent death in custody of Stefano Cucchi, Rome 2017.

It sounds like another “ one of those “ wrongful arrest films, but what makes this one stand out, is the truly incredible performance of Alessandro Borghi in the lead ( plays one of the joint lead Suburra - Blood on Rome )

It’s filmed very much like Subbura and is genuinely harrowing.

Outstanding @jaycee one for you

Really enjoyed this.

Simple idea, executed well: baby drops to earth in spaceship, crashes in midwest America, is adopted by loving parents, starts to exhibit superpowers and wear a red cape.
IS EVIL.
Really well made, no nonsense, good cast, good effects, creepy, some proper 'yikes' moments of gore. Knocks it out in less than 90 mins. Excellent low budget genre-twister.

Well recommended. Just dropped on Netflix.

Just watched Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, early 60s new wave film, set around a lad who ends ups in a Borstal. Few scenes in it reminded me of Scum, similar situations and dialect.
Classic film, I think some people read the book in school
