Polish gangster film on Netflix,it starts off decently but then feels like they lost half the script and mixed up the running order, not recommended

Just been to see Judas and the Black Messiah, brilliant film, true story based on the Black Panther party in chicago, late 60s.
What the story is about I had no idea about, which made the film more enjoyable as this was my introduction to the events. It's quite a heavy story, powerful, and ends with historical footage and notes about what you have just watched.
If your interested in civil rights and political history its a must see

Anyone been a cinema since they.opened again? I went too see Nomadland yesterday, about an old woman who lives in a van, nomadic lifestyle. Played by Frances McDormand, well known on GOT from her roll in Three Billboards.
It's a good film, lots of cinematography but also talk about emotions, personal feelings, enjoyed it

Been meaning to go to my local cinema which has just opened up showing both of these. Only £9 as well (normally £14/5 where I am!).

I was suprised, and happy about how busy my local is compared to last time. Last time is was dead, I worried it was going to close for good, but during the last week quite a few films have sold out, obvs with reduced seats capacity.
Also Nomadland had a lot of old people in, looked like a club, good sign people are actually going now.

Yeh I’m sure at the time it was great but it hasn’t aged well. Was more a comedy than an action film. Acting was terrible all over the shop. Safely say I won’t be bothering with all the sequels.
Think that's the point. Very much an 80's tounge-in-cheek esque action flick that doesn't take itself too seriously. Think it's quite an endearing film personally with some cracking one-liners, which is probably where it gets the love from.

Was that the point of it upon release though?
