I went into Bone Tomahawk blind not knowing a thing about it and was blown away. Great western/horror/thriller!

And also possibly Kurt Russell’s best film and one that he is hardly known for.
It’s like a Cormac McCarthy novel bought to life.
Watched a few movies over the last couple of days....
The 400 Blows. Loved it, would recommend if you haven't seen it already.
The Holdovers. I'm a big fan of Alexander Payne. This wasn't my favorite of his but it was still pretty good. Good holiday film.
The Fire Within. I really liked this one as it focuses on depression, kind of hit home more than I was expecting. Highly recommend as well.

Was on one of the freeview channels last night. And it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Impressive really to have such great reviews for a film about so very very little.

Ignore Poon, it’s a fantastic film, that lulls you into a sense of false security.

His real name was Lorenzo but Yogi was his nickname. The Yogi Bear cartoon character was not so subtly inspired by him
So my New Year’s resolution is to try and watch every film on IMDb’s top 250. I’ve seen quite a lot of them already but I will probably rewatch some of them again. Started with pulp fiction which was very good. The scene in the pawn shop was very unexpected.
Then for some reason decided to just watch a random film so ended up seeing oceans eleven. Are the sequels worth watching?

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King
It's just unbelievable that a trilogy like this exists. We'll never see it's like ever again. Masterpiece. The range of emotions I feel while watching will never be topped by any other fantasy film, and the emptiness I feel now that it's over is almost overwhelming. Can't wait to watch it again.
