Last Film You Watched

Diary of a Teenage Girl

Brilliant, probably my favourite comedy(?) of the year. About a 15 year old guy who has sex with her mums bf, a bit like a teenage Inside Out, in a way.

Hateful Eight, last night.

Not for everyone this film.

Cross between Resevoir Dogs and a cowboy whodunnit, set in the snowy Wyoming wilderness.

Slow, funny and incredibly violent.

The film is all about the dialogue / banter between the characters. I can see why a lot of people would find it boring as a result.

Hateful Eight had me laughing as arms were blown off, hacked off, heads exploded and blood was vomited. But for a real film The Revenant is the tits.

Gonna watch this tonight after a mate recommended it earlier.

Seen "The Big Short" last night. Rather good, but you have to keep up with the jargon them financiers use, even though it's explained during the movie.

Next time a nerd tells you about world finance, you'd do well to take note...

I've read the book it's based on, very complicated, and nonfiction, so I'm curious to see how they've managed to make a narrative film from it.

The big short is great!!! I guess if youre new to financial markets then probably need to rewind some parts and maybe watch twice...

Christian Bales character is brilliant.....i still dont understand though why the investment banks didnt let the 2 young blokes into their office meeting rooms?

ive been in goldman sachs pissed out of my head before and most other banks its easy to call and get a meeting even without any contacts there...so that was a bit weird to have meetings in the lobby then told to leave by security...

Probably the best answer(s) below. Although you'll have an advantage on most people, having read the book.

Aye. It comes at you 150mph at times, giving little time to sink in, before they're off on another sub-plot.
