I have oft been described as a plodder, so it follows that after having been a contributor to a departed fans forum, and then an enthusiastic participant in its reborn form, I was wondering what this GOT was that kept being mentioned in those forums. Of late it has to be said that a bit of name calling has been going on so I have joined to see what the fuss is all about.
So the first thing I see is that GOT has been around for longer than I thought. So I am on board now to see for myself what is going on.
Originally from Birkenhead (wool) I have lived in East Yorkshire or the past 29 years. My first game was against Blackburn in 1963 and as it ended in defeat that was almost my last as my uncle said I was a crow. But as the writing on the kids vest said, once a Blue always a Blue and through thick and thin I am still here dying a thousand deaths whenever we are playing.
That's enough from me for now so here is to the future, which may be a false dawn to some, or the promised land for others.
