He's a pretty apt captain, who sums up the club nicely.

I mean, he was signed on a free, he has no muscle and doesn't look comfortable in most of the situations he's put into. But he's a gent off the pitch and now and again he does something ace. Ultimately however he's stranded in the wrong era of football for what he's all about.
