NEA happy with either one.

Baines did look pretty boss on his little return from injury in preseason before he got injured again

Baines is alot better than Galloway, it's not even close. Galloway has done well in the last few games but he was exposed massively against Man City and offers little to no outlet when we're under pressure.

Galloway will definitely be a good player in the future but Baines needs to go straight in, we'll be better when he does.

a nice problem to have and gives us the opportunity to bring Baines back in gradually rather than throw him in every game for 90 mins.
Baines is 1st choice tho

of course Baines should go straight back in once fit, he's our first choice LB. Galloway has done really well, but usually in these cases they like to give a young player a bit of a run, get a bunch of data of how he reacts in proper situations, then look to train his faults out of him.
Galloway has played more games than they'd probably like (acquitted himself very well) but I expect they are wanting Baines back so they can give Galloway some specialised coaching rather than just push him through the cycles of Game preparation and recovery.

Not really. What I mean is he should keep playing while he's on form regardless of Baines fitness. Once his performance levels drop a bit take him out the firing line.

That way everyone wins and he knows he's got to be at his best to play.

Fair point, thought you meant wait for him to make a mistake then drop him!

For me, Baines offers to much to leave out

Yes if Baines was the Baines at his peak, but he isn't hasn't been for??? at least most of last season.
That Baines would be in at 90% fitness

Galloway has the shirt and until he has a run of total pigs ear's of performances - or gets injured, Baines better bring a cushion.

but that's just me

Garbutt will be a wee bit worried won't he . I don't know who will get the nod, it's enough for me to know at the moment we're not missing Baines which is great credit to our back ups
