Left sided midfielders merry go round

Player Valuation: £8m
So lets say Ribbery goes to Chelsea, for huge cash, which left sided midfielder with experience in Germany might they (Bayern) look at as a replacement?

With this being in the Everton Forum, I'm assuming your hinting at Pienaar.

If thats the case, I can't see it. Their fans would go mental if they replaced Ribbery with Pienaar - a player who, from Bayerns biew, was a bad failure at Dortmund.

So in this case, that experience in Germany would work against him.

They've got Arjen Robben.

I seriously doubt Steven Pienaar would go back to Germany, if he leaves England it'll be to Spain.

Maybe Eljero Elia, who's at Hamburg.

Would be interesting to have both Robben and Elia at Munich. The two rivals for that left wing spot in the national team, playing at the same Bundesliga club. Would have to back Elia like, as he's making tremendous progress this season.

Personally think, Bayern would be looking to strengthen the right wing first though.

This. Get to see a fair amount of Bundesliga and Elia looks a cut above at Hamburg. Bayern would no doubt be interested.

Should've gone in for him.

We could do with someone like him right now.

Robben spends alot of time on the right, cutting inside. And Elia, naturally, is right footed.

They'd probably just end up switching wings, like Ribery and Robben do at the moment.
