If he ain't going to be played out snd out striker he should be dropped, against Watford I would play the team that finished the game (if no other CB's are fit) and Rooney up front instead of DCL.

Unfortunately Rooney can't play as an out and out striker anymore, he's got no pace and can't press from the front.

Confident that we'll be a lot better vs Watford. Better second half today, which augurs well.

Dominating from 0-2 does not make for a positive feeling or adequate signs of the shoots of a recovery. We weren’t a great deal better in the first half at Chelsea either (admittedly we did well for the 2nd half there)

It’s hopeless right now. The only thing we have is that heads aren’t dropping and we keep going. We are losing - too often - and maybe the opponents are - largely - declaring at 2-0 or so. But we didn’t deserve to beat Bournemouth and only just against Stoke. That’s very worrying.

I wonder how many years, it will take, to stabilize the team, and slowly start moving up the table?

5 years is my guess. Before that, is is just about getting rid of every single player, we have, and replacing them, with new ones.

Can't believe we don't have a striker. Koeman you golf playing Judas

never mind next season in the Championship the young lads will be boss. Holgate, Kenny, Davies, beni, Lookman, DCL. Dowell will be back from loan. We are gonna win the Championship!!
It's a difficult division and I wouldn't get a head of ourselves in assuming we'll get straight back into the PL. important that we retain our wise old heads like Bainsey and Capt jags if we're to ultimately get promotion.
Vital we get those two to sign extended contracts...pretty sure Blue Bill will be all over this though
