Lewis Hamilton has crashed.

Yup, our Lewis has had quite a serious 'off' in qualifying at the Nurburgring, apparently caused by a malfunctioning gun which left a nut loose on one of the front wheels.

The latest is he's been taken to hospital, but is believed to be uninjured and never lost consciousness.

Not that I would be so interested in F1, but what do You think: will Hamilton keep his calm til the end of the season and win the Championship? I´m kind of sensing that his performances could get a bit weaker when the going gets tough. Nevertheless, he has already shown that he will be the biggest name in the future.

Of course we have out Kimi (write this after me! ->) Räikkönen, but I´ve never liked him as much as Mika Häkkinen and when he chose to go to Ferrari, his stocks went even lower! But he is a professional, and I think he is going to be the number 1 challenger for Hamilton. I dont reckon that Massa or Alonso would be that much of a threat.

i believe this realisation is why alonso has been doing a lot of crying and dummy spitting.

The sand really did a good job, you can see how much it slowed the car down, had there been no sand I don't think he would had got out with no injuries.
