I'm a huge fan on a personal basis, especially the night time version.

I enjoy it, especially accompanied with torrential rain and a hot cup of tea/coffee/chocolate.

The proper lightening though. Forked stuff, not just flashes.

Oh, and its Thunder and lightening obv.

I love it. One of nature's wonders. Especially when at seaside or looking over a forest or mountains. It's a tremendous spectacle.

A really bad thunder storm started while I was out fishing on the cut last year.

I'm pretty sure that one of the worst things you could be holding with lightening going off around you is a 14 metre carbon pole.

I did one.

To borrow a phrase from Manchester , Im fukn mad flor it .
When I was in the Merch' - alas , pre-camera fone days - I saw some corkers . Its raw as fuk . Psuedo - Religious experience if you see a real cracker . Im loving them both ( havent got a dog though ) .

I forgive you, mate. I wasn't being obnoxious, just pointing out a common misspelling, one which I made until my Danish wife told me off.

Two best storms for me:

1. Sweden, camping out in a forest. Forked lightning, and lasted for hours. Absolutely shat myself.
2. Scotland, living in a caravan in the middle of nowhere. Again, forked lightning, and lasted all night. Kept going, then returning. I was afraid, and hid under a duvet until I decided to go with the flow, and just watch it unfold. Amazing.
