Line up under Moyes.

With the current squad what's Moyes starting line up v Villa?

Will he go 4/2/3/1 or 3/5/2?

Here's my guess.....

Pickford

O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite

Patterson , Mangala, Gueye , Armstrong, Mykolenko ( or McNeil if fit )

DCL ( if fit Beto if not ) Ndayie.

I'm sure if fit Garner plays instead of Armstrong.

I think it will be 4-2-3-1 and I don't see places for Tarkowski, Mykolenko, or McNeil in the setup tbh.

Wouldn’t be expecting anything different from Dyche tbh. I doubt Armstrong will suddenly start Prem matches.

Probably just any 11 that are fit on Weds, we desperately need McNeil, Tim, Garner and DCL/Broja back fit, as well as couple of new signings.

Can absolutely see Tarkowski starting, until Moyes gets to see up close what O’Brien will offer him. Mykolenko another starter, simply because he’s the only left footer, even if Moyes will see his limited abilities immediately. Armstrong won’t be starting, simply due to age / lack of experience. I’ve a feeling he may go with Lindstrom in the 10 role, and lash Doucoure in the skip at Finch Farm. I think Moyes will be content with what he has on offer defensively, so his task will be to devise a way of offering an offensive / counter attacking threat, something Dyche failed to do.

Makes sense with the current squad, will have 2-3 chances over Dyche surely.

For me McNeil currently belongs into the eleven, but he's injured, with Lindström and Ndiaye.

And I am sure Moyes gets a bit more out of them.
Not for me, maybe for now but needs to be phased out, gives the ball away more than anyone else and just too slow. You can't have someone like Nuamah on one side then someone like McNeil on the other it will just be totally lopsided imo.

We will see but if he is just going to chuck out the same sort of squad Dyche did each week then I don't expect much tbh. Id at least be expecting Young at LB and Patterson at RB it allows us to get up to at least the halfway line a few times, Mykolenko is just not good enough. It will all depend on who gets brought in I guess so we will need to wait and see.
