Liverpool FC allowed to trademarks the city's emblem

Basically what they did was to leave this in the long grass until a change of administration in the council, then press again. I bet a pound to a pinch of [Poor language removed] that the MP who took over from Kilfoyle, Steve Rotherham, was an envoy for them to the new Labour council. I'd like to hear what Warren Bradley's response is to this.

It's absolutely outrageous that THE COUNCIL did a secret deal.

In no way was there public consultation.

In no way did they publicise this "deal" before hand.

So much for open governance

OUTRAGEOUS.

We should submit a Freedom of Information request to find out who the **** allowed this to happen

This is how the nazis started.

I got bollocked for something similar the other day. Anyway, they can trademark it if they like, it was on our League Winners medals nearly 100 years ago IIRC, so lets see them alter the history books to accomodate that.

Anyone displaying that now can be prosecuted.

Well considering you have been banned 4 times and are still allowed to post, I dont think you can complain much really.
