Prestons David Nugent has once again reiterated his strong desire to play for his boyhood club Everton, admitting it would be a 'dream move' for him.
The England Under 21 international also believes leaving Liverpool at the age of 14 was the best thing that ever happened to him... hopefully, that decision will come back to haunt them.
Nugent speaking Yesterday: "Hopefully I'll be in the Premiership with Preston this summer, If not, someone else as every young player wants to be there.
"Everton would be the dream. I've always wanted to play for them.
It'd be unbelievable and, hopefully, it'll happen one day. That's where I want to be.
"I was released by Liverpool when I was 14, but that was the best thing that happened to me.
"I've progressed because I wanted to prove I'm good enough for the Premiership."
Nugent in February: "I want to play for Everton, there's no question about that. Everyone knows I'm an Everton fan. My hero was Duncan Ferguson and, hopefully, I will play for them in my career and I'm confident I will do. I used to wear my Everton top underneath my Liverpool training top. I hated wearing red at the time, but they gave me my chance to play at the School of Excellence and it was great there."
