Liverpool's new shirt sponsorship deal

we should have nano technological panels on the front, that way we could have a number of shirt sponsors that keep changing on the screens.
we could be the first club to do it.

Baaahhh, when I win the lotto and buy the club it's back to no sponsor and 100% cotton, just like the curly one up there in my avatar. You think the new shirt is old school? You ain't seen sh*t yet! (y)

Bit dodgy going with a finance company in the present economic climate. Unless it's connected in some way to the refinancing package for the Yanks, I think Standard Chartered are still part of the Royal Bank of Scotland group, they were really struggling a few years ago.
Possibly a condition of the of the new deal or a 'sweetener'. Probably not a real '£80M over 4 years' - offset loan interest/repayments etc.

Hope they go under and leave the RS up the creek. (n)

SCB do most of their business in Asia, Africa & the Middle East so it's a good fit.

I bet the RBS sorted this deal out for them. Standard almost merged with them once upon a time. Probably a good way to ensure the debt LFC owe them is paid back. I bet they have first dibs on that cash before the Rafatola gets his slimy mits on it.

The SPurs one with Mansion dumbfounds me its close to 40 million, how do they have more exposure then us.

I was searching around earlier trying to find out what they expect for stadium naming rights. Spurs' CEO states: “Our initial research shows that a major new Stadium development for a world famous football club in London with a brand as prestigious as Tottenham Hotspur has the opportunity to generate significant and important funds"

So there you have it.

Similar to what I said last week...
