So what to say, where to start? The beginning I suppose, that's normally a good place to start.
When I was 9 years old I did one of those naff front garden sales with a mate of mine. Everyone did them where I grew up. We had this dream of selling empty tic tac boxes and half used wax crayons to passers by with the dream of making enough money to buy a curly wurly and a shed load of choc lick.
I'd somehow gotten hold of a scarf adorned in the colours of 'them lot' and was planning on flogging it for at least 50p. That morning we had decided to sell our tat at my mate Callums house, which was great because he lived over the road and my mum wouldn't let me go any further then one street either side of ours.
Anyway his dad came storming out declaring that he didn't want that rubbish in his garden, I was basically scared into supporting Everton by the undiluted vitriol of a grown man. Over the years I developed a true love and understanding of our beloved boys in blue. I loved our 'underdog' status under Moyes, I've always admired our working class, fair play attitude towards the beautiful game which seeps from fans to players to club.
enough about me, I only posted this because the little pop up box told me to and apparently I need to post 5 times until my posts are unmoderated... after that I want to try my hand at writing some reviews. I'm of the opinion that my opinion matters you see, so where else to force said opinion on to others than here on grand old team?
look out for posts and bad jokes on threads. I regret nothing and I apologise for less.
