Hi all,

Been reading this site for what feels like years so thought I best get involved! Some of the posts I've seen on here have had me in tears!!!

Me? Born in Perth Australia to a scouse dad, did really support anything until my early teens and when I watched Pual Rideout score against the Manc ****s I was set... I've been able to get over to Liverpool once in 2005 and went and watched us get over Newcastle 2-0 in the last home game.

Keep up the great work lads!!!

Does beetroot improve the burger? I'm fascinated by this.

Mcdonalds put Gherkins in burgers over here, then everyone takes them out. The urban legend is that the gherkin qualifies it as a savoury snack, otherwise it'd be dessert due to the sugar levels...

Same here mate, no-one eats the Macca gherkins, bit suspicious if its actually a gherkin... Our Hungry Jacks (your Burger King) did an Aussie Burger up until 6 months ago... 2 x beef patties, bacon, egg, beetroot, lettuce, tomato, tomato sauce and onion. Doesn't sound like it should work but my good man, it was fcucking delicious.

They've gone healthy now... FFS.

That sounds divine.

The crap thing is it's freezing and pissing it down here, so it'll probably be at least 4 months before I can give this a live run at a BBQ.

Haha try it, just remember to wrap it in paper and let in sit for 30 mins. Adds to the experience.

I'll swap weather with you, 40 degrees celcius with chance of thunder storm. With air con dying...

Beetroot does actually work, but you cant just whack it on a big mac, they did a kiwiburger that had it on which was a bit like a big tasty. Only trouble was they did a monstrous meatmeister at the same time and eating both was nigh on impossible.

Deli butties often had beetroot on and alfalfa sprouts, had some great smoko's in oz.

I think it was just the right combination of "Get him on FFS", "Get in Jol" and "Moylesy out" comments that got me all teary. Perfect storm of comedy.

Love.
