think you're gonna have to let this one lie fella, if you've made your apologies then you can't really do much more than that. you seem adamant that you haven't done anything wrong so i can understand you wanting to clear your name but i suspect you'll be on a loser if you continue. best bet in my opinion (not that its worth jack) would be to have a huge slice of pie of the humble variety and if you insist on carrying it on then do it via pm. you can throw this back at me if you like when i get into a battle with the mods when some of my less serious postings get on someones nerves. i don't really want to get into whats gone on previously as i wasn't even a member then so don't class this as taking any side in this dispute.

it irks that i've been dragged through the forums by monty who has 'truth is everything' on his profile... saying to everyone here that i wished a heart attack on him. what ever your standing in the forum.. that is a pretty shitty thing to accuse somebody of. no doubt a few of the clique have banded together seeing no wrong in that post.

and then to delete a thread where i made my reply explaining myself!! luckily i copied it because i thought the deck might be stacked.

then to see that thread my reply thread has been locked really takes the biscuit.

an apology off monty would smooth things over. but more likely i'll be banned for being strong enough to say that it's wrong, in the face of everything, it's wrong.

i'm disgusted he has been calling me a liar and making the claims he has.

anyone who wants to back him up.. fine.

Can't argue with Reidy on this one.

I'd just let it blow over and continue on. Whether you were in the right or not I think is moot at this point. I understand you may feel aggrieved as does Monty.

Perhaps direct communication with Monty through PM's would be more appropriate and perhaps you two can work things out. It may take both of you swallowing a bit of pride to do it. In the end, if you agree to disagree, then fine but at least the two of you will have tried.

FWIW Teppic, I read the pm and responded to the thread saying I can't see any ill wishes being sent on your part. At most it was a dig at a nickname, and there has been plenty worse than that on here.

You do seem to be getting a very raw deal here, but as Bill said we might not be able to see everything that has gone on.

Best for both Monts and yourself to just move past it and put it down to a misconstrued pm.

Please try and keep it civil though please chaps. A forum with members sniping constantly becomes a tiresome place real fast.
