The problem is Digne got caught out. I'm not to the point of advocating for Baines return but if Digne isn't going to do his job defensively then the argument is going to be there to be made.

They weren't really a threat on that side tonight tbh (other than their actual goal of course). Baines would have had a field day with Ricco and Bernard as well as all the corners and possession.

No doubt. I'm one of the believers in the opinion that Baines at his peak was at least a top 5 left back in the world.
