Lukaku to Spurs

London press trying to unsettle our focus ahead of the Arsenal match. That is it in a nutshell.

If we want Lukaku and have the funds we will try and sign him. If he/Chelsea agree we will. Nothing will be concrete until the final season positions are known. Lets just batter Arsenal this weekend!

Lukaku will be a player that we will see ripping up the World Cup 2022 and we'll tell our younger brothers or sisters/children/cousins that this great player once graced Goodison park in an Everton shirt. With a look of disbelief the younger generation will then google and Wikipedia this information flabbergasted.

Bit like with Rooney now?

Didn't Rom say a while back he wanted C/L ?.

Aye mate, you see this is the funny thing with the papers like. To downplay his chances of signing for us they print stories of him wanting CL something when they print we looked like we wouldn't be getting, so now we look like theirs a real chance of getting CL footy, the same rags now are printing stories linking him with a club with ZERO chance of CL footy next year with no mention that Lukaku wants to go to a team that has CL footy next year. Could it have anything to do with us being in their minds a 'small' little club compared to Arsenal and Spurs like?

The more suspicious would think both sets of stories are just designed to try to destabilize the Everton team before their biggest game of the season like... in order to benefit the Arsenal/Spurs love in they have

Some Belgian journo on twitter has just said that his agent has admitted speaking to Daniel Levy, although Everton is still an option.

London is still a massive pull for players, plus the perception that Spurs are a bigger club or at least a more ambitious one can't be denied. Ultimately, they were in the Champions League not so long ago, we've never made it

Spurs plan to have a new stadium done and dusted by 2017 - that's ambition for you
