Where possible, the senior and U21 squads should train together. Would encourage cross-pollination of tactics, see who might make the step up (and equally see which U21s in the senior squad might could temporarily drop down), and provide a better setup for the whole England shebang.

You lost me there mate!
 
Normally when players from the younger age groups train with the senior squad it usually means they won't play in the game. With Shaw in the squad it was obvious he won't start ahead of him. At least it means no injuries.
