Lurking for a while, but just wanted to say hello

Hi all - another Yank football/soccer Everton fan here. I started following the Toffees a few years ago, but I've laid low while I familiarized myself with the club, its history, etc. Anyway, it would be easy to say that Tim Howard (who grew up about 15 minutes from where I live) is the reason why I became an Everton fan, and to an extent that's true...but something about the team appealed to me. It's hard to place, but as I started following the Premier League, Everton just "felt" right. For good or bad, I'm emotionally tied to the club, and although I've seen them in person (during the preseason North American tour last year), I'm desperately trying to scrape together the funds to see a game at Goodison. The atmosphere there seems incredible through the television - I can only imagine what it's like to be there amongst lifelong, local Everton fans. Anyway, great job with the site and I hope you guys don't mind putting up with another American fan! COYB
