Typically, as in club football - the big names get the preferential treatment with England, France, Italy, Germany etc all enjoying an evening k.o.

Just trikes me as very strange that the only early k.o. happens to be in one of the hottest locations - and that it includes us of course.

I know what that kind of heat's like and couldn't imagine having to play football in it - especially after a Scottish summer!...

It is a worry, but after 'that' goal in Paris, he can stay in the starting XI til he retires - maybe after.

Given a decent ref, your guys'll do them over on Wednesday - especially now that you'll be taking them at least a little more seriously.

Typical Scotland though, we'll probably beat Holland and Norway no problem then get hammered by Iceland. 2nd was always the realistic target, so not throwing in the towel just yet!...

Given that Holland always struggle in the qualifying stages, you should most certainly not be giving up. We always tend to make a mess of it and most of the time we seem to have luck on our side. Normally, I really don't care that much about our national team. Especially under the regime of van Basten, I couldn't care less. However, I do like our new coach Bert van marwijk and with Mark van Bommel also returning to the squad, I hope they do well this time.
