Hello toffee-nation, my name is Andrew Medley. This is my first post, but I've followed GrandOldTeam for several years now. I've loved soccer all my life, but living in America it has never been easy to follow, until very recently. In 2006, coming off the World Cup high, i decided to give my full support to an EPL club. Now I could tell you that I had a hard time figuring out which club to support, that I was tempted by clubs like Arsenal or Aston Villa, but I can't lie. For me there was no other choice but Everton, the club is miles above everyone else. I know its cheesy and cliche but I didn't chose this club, Everton chose me. I hope to make more posts and talk to as many of you as I can.

Well I've been an Everton fan since before Donovan showed up (and I have the Lescott jersey to prove it!), but its great to have him here. Honestly, I thought he was over-hyped here at home, but if he keeps up these good performances then he might just change my mind.
