A lot of our time is spent talking about transfers and the money we do/do not have available to spend. It’s getting to the point now where I’d rather we went all out financially for a truly world class manager. The problem is of course that those managers would most likely want (and need) to be backed heavily in a transfer window in order to succeed here. I’m doubtful we could afford to do both which is just kind of depressing

I think this will speed up things regarding transfers, we either have to sack him or back him at this point I feel.

Get some out the door and get some in.

Worth mentioning with Mourinho though, all those trophies he has won with clubs in positions of power. A good set up already and he took them to the next level. I don't know how well he would do taking an average club up to being a good one.

Think he needs a huge turnaround because that squad shouldn’t be this bad. It begins at the top and Silva is failing. His magnetic tactical board must just have counters lobbed at it from a distance. There’s no plan. There’s no flow. I’ve been saying it for weeks. The team doesn’t connect. Bournemouth should have been ahead against us. Southampton didn’t make that mistake. Silva’s CV wasn’t great. It’s even worse now.

People praised him for answering Big Sam but it was noticeable he couldn’t do it by pointing to results or performance or position in the table. On that front, he has no comeback.

Yep. He's been brought in because of his style of play but I'm still trying to work out what that is actually supposed to be.

I suspect we will lose to Millwall , limp to the end of the season staying up with Silva in charge.

How we start next season will determine his fate IMO.

Something is seriously wrong at Goodison and to be frank , has been for some time.

Is Silva good enough ? Probably not.

What else is wrong ? A hell of a lot.

this season they couldnt start well and they were on a bad form but southampton away is always a tough fixture its not like cardiff. and not to mention they have a new manager
