We are a mess of a club mired in mediocrity I expect nothing going into any away game and haven't for years tbh. The manager is down the list in terms of our issues. We have a formation that doesn't fit the players. We have a midfield that isn't up to standard consistantly and an attack that is inadequate for this league so what do we expect? I would hope for slightly better results but we have deep problems in this squad that will take time to fix whoever the manager or dof is. There are no short fixes.

I think we are crying out for a man manager. Not just someone that is decent tactically

Somebody that will fire the players up and light a fire under their asses when they perform like Nicolas Cage in Wicker Man
We are. Look at Solskjaer effect. Bet he keeps things simple and he’s letting the players express themselves.

he has a plan B, just too stubborn to use it. If we revert to high tempo press and counter attack or simply stick to this approach when it work so well early season, we might not be in this mess. His arrogance with slow styleless build up and zonal Defense will be his downfall.

Getting a manager with an abysmal win percentage in the Prem was never a good idea, but then that was because we unsettled him at Watford.

Very deflated at the minute. Midfield just seems to get overrun and the ball never sticks with Richarlison. DCL not the answer but at least he can win a few headers.

I remember getting a very strong feeling we will struggle for years after Moyes. And even though we have new investment i didn't forsee or could dream off, my feeling was on point.

Yes I think we deserve better. It's been utter utter mediocrisy since we finished 5th under brown shoes. Oh by the way we haven't won a trophy since 1995 either.
Why do we deserve better? We support a team that has been skint for years. That has had 4 managers within less than two full seasons. That has a chairman who hired Koeman because he wanted a "Hollywood" manager despite having no clear evidence that he was qualified to spend the money he did with Steve Walsh. Same for Walsh himself.

We love our club, yes. But we deserve nothing more than we achieve.
