Keep the faith lads.

No point just having a revolving door on the manager's office. Any manager (except Allardyce) should get at least 18 months - 2 years unless they really have us staring down the barrel.

We are playing better than last season as much as the table doesn't reflect. Still in the FA Cup and still a lot of games to go.

Not these gash 2 months. 2 wins in 10 is horrendous.

How can you say that when, before the derby, we were flying? Perhaps not in terms of maximum points but we had some swagger. A trait we haven't had for about 4 years.

Aye, it's nonsense, but people have short memories.

We were playing very well before that derby. We've been crap since with a few exceptions.

He got his tactics wrong today though and I'm worried it's becoming a trend. He isn't learning. Earlier in the season, he seemed to change when something wasn't working.

Has never convinced has he. In interviews, or with performances. Uninspiring dreary manager who is out of his depth. Same formation every week, throw lots of attackers on when it doesn’t work.

Think Silva was given more time then most as his style of attacking was something that hasn't been seen in decades, it's been mostly defensive.

The formation has been found out, couple this to the news that moshiri won't unlock the warchest for the first time since he has been here. Add to that players on massive wages that won't be shifted without taking a loss.

Brands should of just got rid of the players last summer for what he could get, and the press the reset button and start again, take a hit in 1 season instead of spreading it out over 4 or 5 transfer windows.

Yeah but look at the bench today.

Bloody awful.

He did just that, surely?

At the start of the season, Schneiderlin, Tosun, Walcott, etc, were all first-team regulars, remember?

Sack him

Been far too long since we sacked Allardyce and I quite enjoy lobbing a new man at the helm every 4/5 months in the hope of an upturn of form

Seriously though, we have enough quality players in that squad to be capable of playing decent football and what is currently getting served up isn't acceptable

I hope the soft lad is feeling the pressure because he bloody should be because currently it isn't good enough.

That swagger got us a point at chelsea, a defeat at arsenal, a defeat at Man U, and another defeat at Anfield. We have won 2 away games all season and just lost to a team with one Home win all season by January. When was the last time we played well in consecutive games? Have we even done it under Silva?

"Seriously though, we have enough quality players in that squad to be capable of playing decent footbal"

doubt

This goes deeper than the manager. No matter who comes in we seem unable to complete the most basic of passes in the final third, and don't show the same desire or spirit as 90% of the league. I don't know what it is, but something is properly rotten. It's hard not to be so utterly apathetic to it all.

But you'd think the right man would come in and pull that weed up routes n'all. Figure out what's been going on and why and aggressively snuff it out. But then again maybe that weed of failureach is the manager selection.

Digne, Bernard, Gomes, Richarlison, Lookman for starters are all very comfortable on the ball yes?

Gylfi to a lesser degree yes? Zouma isn't afraid of getting the ball?

There's enough players of quality to be doing far better than what we are and when the performances don't hit the expected standard then its only right focus turns towards the manager and what is he doing about it?

Fat Sam managed to get 8th with a worse squad. Just saying. Half of the first team is bought by him.
Playing the kind of football that will only ever get you 8th. Not only do you need the players you need the style of play to be capable of finishing in the top 6. Club needs a root and branch change which is happening or is said to be happening as we speak. Six months is too early to say he's failed imo.
