We’ve got at least 4 home defeats still to come, that is where an Everton managers keeps or loses his job. The crowd are going to turn on him, it’s inevitable.

With the mix of City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, United coming up soon but with weaker teams in between each of these fixtures I can see it being a very bad period.

Lose against City, will there be a reaction against Cardiff? Probably not. Then lose to Liverpool, Newcastle next... confidence at a massive low. And so on and so on.

You can’t handle the truth.
Son, we live in a world that has balls, and those balls have to be kicked by men with boots.. Who's gonna do it? You? You, ijjysmith? Silva has a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for our away form, and you curse the Reds. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that Silva’s tenure, while tragic, probably saved us from relegation; and Big Sam’s existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saved us from certain relegation.
We use words like "skill," "talent," "quality." We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending atrociously. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under an Everton duvet and then questions the formation which Silva plays.
I would rather that you just said "thank you" for Silva being the manager and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest Everton fans stop being weapons and stand the post, unlike the team at corners. Either way, I don't give a DAMN what you think you're entitled to!
Really mate WTF.

The majority of that is Marcel Brands job, the new style of football is definitely in Marcos remit, however it disappeared about 3 months ago

They both go hand in hand. Marco sees something in Bolasie for example, Bolasie stays. If Marcel says they want player X they have to talk if it fits the system/style.

That talent has to be realised though. Right now almost every player in the squad is under performing, either that or they're not as talented as we think they are.

Modern football is brutal. If by November next year we are showing no signs of progress Silva will be gone. He really doesn't have much time.

A handful have just started in a new league - Gomes, Mina, Bernard, Digne
We relying on players under 25 years old - Lookman, Richarlison, DCL.

The defence still needs a fix. We still need a striker. We still need another CM.

On top of that we need to get rid of 10+ players.

And I agree. He's got until xmas next year.

None of which we won and you completely ignore the poop shows like yesterday and many many more.

The obsession with the games against the big teams is weird. We need to sort out winning the games we should be winning before we even contemplate competing with teams like that.

Why? Because you want to win now.

Those games occurred less then 6 months into the life cycle of this regime the performances and set up illustrates to me we have a manager who can match the best tactically and put together a limited team to be competitive, that I think long term with his own o,Ayers is a decent foundation.

What did you expect this season, I’ve said all along what I expect is boom and bust football. I haven’t been proven wrong, I don’t think any other manager couldn’t have done any different.

All I see in this thread, is peop,e crotising a manger, scapegoating and wanting a quick fix. Exactly where we have been for the past three years and exactly why we are gash.

Rinse and repeat, it’s quite remarkable that people seem to have learned nothing.

6 months in , we should defo be seeing a game plan and obvious strategy …

I see neither... and I don't think this team are fit enough either.
