I just dont see how people can compare him to Martinez in any shape or form, hes a manager thats won trophies in 2 different countries, he doesnt even play the same style of football.

If he comes we are paying mega money for him, he will be here long term.

Twice in the space of four days, the travelling Everton fans - and those watching on television - have had to endure their side tamely surrendering a match to a hungrier opponent.

The Toffees may not have anything to play for, but their displays at Leicester on Sunday and Sunderland on Wednesday will do little to appease the growing opposition to Martinez's managerial reign.

There was an abundance of talent in the starting XI at the Stadium of Light but none of the players performed anywhere near their potential.

Having witnessed wild celebrations from opposition fans at the end of their past two games, it will be interesting to see what reception Everton supporters give Martinez and his players after Sunday's season finale at Goodison Park.

Hahahhahhahahhaha!

Mate I know they beat us 3-0. I was joking. My dad is a Sunderland fan. He was out that night and asked me to text him updates of the score as he couldn’t watch it. The game is burned into my memory. We were dreadful.

Like I’d remember that we finished 11th but not remember the awful game that was at last the final straw for Martinez.

We have no idea who we have or havent spoken to mate.

I mean people laughed at the Simeone link and rightfully so, but do people think we tried for 1 of the best managers in the world and then thought screw it, lets get Big Sam.

All 3 of those names would be a major, major risk, premiership experience is VITAL.

Now and again you get a Poch or a Jose, but now and again you get a Laudrup or a Puel.

Im very different, im trying my very best to pretend that the Martinez years didnt happen.
