I doubt the board have even looked at replacements in all honesty- Moshiri is just desperate for Silva to succeed as he knows he'll have egg on his face for the manner in which we pursued him like maniacs.

Make no mistake his pride rests on Silva.

The question is how long is he going to let his ego come in the way of money/business.

Marco Silva held talks with Farhad Moshiri and club directors after Everton’s defeat to Norwich last night report the Telegraph

They say the Portuguese fears the sack, but looks set to hang onto his job for at least one more week.
The report also claims the Everton hierarchy have been desperate to support Silva and are extremely reluctant to make the change

At literally any other club he'd of been gone within an hour of the final whistle yeasterday, at most clubs he'd of gone mouths ago, hell at any half decent club he'd never of been appointed to begin with!
