I thought he was meant to be a progressive coach? He's actually a dullard who is terrified of his own shadow, isn't he? He doesn't command respect or inspire his team he isn't a big enough character. He doesn't have any new ideas just 4231 over and over and reverting back to players who aren't good enough over and over because he is scared for his job. Its proven Iwobi is our best choice at ten it's either Richy or DCL up front and Morgan should be punted not in the team every week. If we can see it why can't he? His subs are reactive and desperate. He strikes me as quite naive and clueless. He isn't up to the job. He must go. We are already in trouble every game he stays it gets worse.

Tries to be a friend/therapist/big brother to the players rather than their boss. Just like Martinez. Ergo no respect. The players know they can sulk, strop and go through the motions with impunity.

Everyone who’s ever had a ‘nice’ boss knows what I mean. Nothing gets done.

Well yeah, but hire a manger on the Monday before Anfield away and then get battered anyway, not the greatest of starts is it?

A brave forward thinking owner would be thinking that getting in a new manager before the derby might give the players that kick up the backside to put a big shift in and get a scrappy result or even slender defeat with positive signs heading into Chelsea at home.

Whereas our cowards will sacrifice us like lambs and be tonked 4-0 at the Pit before doing the right thing.

You know what will really piss me off.....this clown will probably fluke a win against Leicester and then by some miracle get a draw against Satan's spawn and we will be stuck with this fraud until the end of the season watching his bizarre team selection, then awful substitution choices and inevitable lose every time someone scores against us first.....Hooray, i cant wait!!

Wanting the team not to win games just because you dont like the manager...

Dearie me...have a word with yourself.

Tony Cascarino will be ‘surprised’ if Marco Silva is still Everton boss come the end of Sunday after woeful Norwich defeat - https://talksport.com/football/634086/tony-cascarino-everton-marco-silva-norwich/

Tony Cascarino has told talkSPORT that he does not expect Marco Silva to still be Everton manager come Sunday night.
Speaking on the Weekend Sports Breakfast, the former Chelsea striker said he’d be ‘surprised’ to see the Portuguese boss survive the day following a 2-0 defeat at home to struggling Norwich.

The Canaries – who moved off the bottom of the table as a result – condemned Silva’s side to their seventh defeat of the season through second-half goals from Todd Cantwell and Dennis Srbeny, with home fans venting their frustrations at Silva with ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ chants ringing around Goodison Park.

“‘You’re getting sacked in the morning’? I’d be surprised if he gets through today I must say,” Cascarino said.

The Toffees have won just four of their 13 top-flight games this season and Cascarino believes the board will already be looking at alternative to replace Silva – citing Jose Mourinho’s recent appointment at Tottenham as an example.

He added: “When you’re on a bad run and this has probably already happened, Everton as a club will be looking at who is available and start seeing potential candidates for being the next manager.

“They might not have made that decision and pushed the button yet. It’s like Jose Mourinho going in at Spurs that was probably the topic of discussion two or three weeks ago that was a possibility.

“They then make a big sledgehammer decision where they make a new change and I think Silva’s at that stage now, where they’ve probably already spoken to certain managers that could be available to come to Goodison Park.”

Speaking after the game Silva seemed resigned to his fate, admitting the club ‘has to come first’ in this situation as pressure grows on his position – admitting his side were ‘afraid’ to play.

“I think it is not the main thing to talk about the situation. It is not the moment to talk about individual positions,” Silva said.

“We have to look what is best for us as a club and for myself and the players as well – but always the club has to be at the top.

“When you lose a match, the first person they look to is the manager. Football is like that.

“The message is I respect what is their feeling, for sure. It is not the first time they felt the way they felt this afternoon.

“We started to be afraid and that was the problem,” Silva said. “You can never, ever, ever be afraid to play football.”

You could argue its far braver to stick with Silva rather than panic and fire him.
