Can see this season shaping up as a rinse and repeat of last season even at this early point. Squad struggling for fitness, high number of players involved in international games over summer and new signings not bedded in yet. We may not have the same extreme slump as last season but recurring defeats to poor sides will be a feature.
This may not improve until the early new year. Which is criminal, if it transpires, two seasons in a row.

And for 45mil we should be getting a player that preforms at a high level every week.

We have had many games with the same team selection, tactics and subbing producing unwelcome results has he learnt? Have to say some games though have worked out but too many have not.

Must be the only club ever to spend around 400m on players over 5 years and end up worse than before we spent any of it. Truly awful by those responsible for the spending. Hasn't really improved much with Brands, either. Lukaku was sold too cheaply, and he's had a few hits and many misses with his signings.
