Given we have arsenal Chelsea leiscter Liverpool United spurs still to play twice this season and city once.

We are in track thus far to finish on less than 40 points. Especially given the fixtures so far.

We have to get rid of him sooner rather than later. We should have got rid of him 3 weeks ago. This is Martinez last season all over again except this time somehow worse.

If we are spending 25 million for a third choice striker , similar amounts on midfielders and be content with the season so far? What are we as a club?

We sacked koeman for similar despite having much harder fixtures. Keep going and there won't be any chance of hiring a better manager to replace Silva with.

We have become the club that we feared we would. A nothing mid table club. We are on par with the likes of Southampton , west ham, Brighton , Bournemouth , Newcastle etc

Brighton , Burnley , Bournemouth , Sheffield United and Aston Villa have now beaten us.
Unless you were deliberately trying to lose , would it even be possible for any other manager to achieve this feat of incompetence ?.
I am afraid that despite a bit of bad luck today , this latest addition to his C.V. must be the final straw. He is possibly in the Mike Walker category of being simply out of his depth at the club.
He needs putting out of his (and our) misery.

VAR didn't beat us. That was a penalty.

If VAR didn't get involved, we'd all be pointing the finger at Keane (as you might be already). The ref didn't give it, the VAR official did, and it absolutely floored the team, so I'm going to put it on VAR this time around.

We looked quite comfortable up until that point and Brighton offered nothing. VAR was the difference, whether you think it should have been a penalty or not.

Not defending silva before people start having ago. But these players seriously are a joke. The energy from last week to this. We was so aggressive getting the ball back when we lost the ball and didn’t give West Ham time to settle. Today we played well in bits but individual mistakes again ain’t helping us. Davies does the hard thing getting ball back, then tried to be smart then Gomes giving a stupid freekick away in a dangerous position always doing this. Pickford I’m sorry save that. If we get manager it needs to be a winner or someone who will bully these into working hard for the club and the fans. They are playing 1 game a week unless in the cup week it’s not hard for these players.

Doesn’t need to go Gung Ho at the end.

Delph, Davies AND Gomes on the pitch?

More positive away from home today, undone by 3 avoidable goals. But it’s poison, and his subs are questionable and his tactics are just mental at times.

A quarter of the season in and 16th with teams below having a game in hand can’t be blamed on VAR.
If it carries on then the board have to take blame for not changing it.
We got away with it last season but we won’t this year because the gap in teams below top 6 is getting closer.

My source told me Allegri is apparently gagging for it.

Doubt we'll be going for him now which is a shame as he could take us to "the next level"
Marco’s already taken us to the next level ......

a lower one
Had nearly 18 months and we’ve been crap for about 15 of them. Even pre season results have been garbage. We have no distinct style, no heart, no game management. His teams have conceded the most in the league from set pieces at 3 different clubs.
The whole mess nicely summed up in two lines.

To blame the manager for this Everton team remaining the moody gets they are is ridiculous.

Last week they had the bit between their teeth; this week they get a head and lose the game after an atrcious decision goes against them.

That's player fragility
Manager is part of installing a winning mentality though. He can't. Worst still we can never come back from going behind and always capitulate under any pressure. He isn't good enough and yes the players mentality isn't too.

Teams get relegated by conceding avoidable goals every week though.

That's literally how a team goes down.
