it only stops with the manager if it’s a manager Dave doesn’t like.

apparently Koeman who had a better record than this clown after the same number of games had to go, yet Silva doesn’t for some reason.

in case you haven’t noticed, he seems to thrive on these occasions, take the hint,
We all have our opinions mate. Some I agree with and some I don't. For me, Silva isn't the answer. One win against West Ham doesnt change that. Today tells me much more about the state of affairs.
Its ok for Dave to like Silva and dislike Brands, but I don't see it myself.

So us winning leaves a sour taste in your mouth? Perhaps you should support a different team, mate

No because I knew the win would give our clown owners the excuse of giving this idiot more and more time to destroy us.

Some of us look long term and not just at 3 points in isolation - doing that would have you calling for a manager to lose and keep his job on a game by game basis which is stupid.

getting beat by bad teams not a good sign , we are in trouble with this fella.
saying that he picked a team that did ok last week what happened this week to many not putting a shift in Gomes was woeful first half ,walcotte back to square one and we bottled the game when the got the second

Yes it is. Deep down it is.

Well not Pickford , keepers are keepers.

But generally yes. A good manager coaches his players for entire games. So they know nwhat to do and when to do it. Pep had his Barca team passing and moving 3 steps ahead from each other. So they knew where to go and who to pass to. That's good coaching. Klopp has turned a meaningless team with the addition of a couple of players into a team looking like being one of the greats , already with a European cup behind them. That's good coaching.

Heads dropping, no away performances, defence not knowing when to tackle and when to back off, that's the manager. That's what he should be coaching. Gomes should know what his centre halves are doing so he can judge to make the tackle or not.

That's coaching , that's why teams are successful and most aren't. That's why the teams at the top or the table win no matter what, because it's ingrained into them.

So when you keep losing, it means you lack that mentality. We should be losing the odd game , we aren't a top team. But to keep losing them? That's down to Silva. It's always in individual error, avoidable goals , switching off etc. Always a pattern.

Good post this.

No more massive lulls was a requirement for Silva this year. Yet again, it looks dire for him. It isn’t good enough
I just worry that we will keep going. The odd win here and there to look like we are going somewhere like last week.

I mean we have lost 5 of the last 6 games. Except that west ham win has seemingly glossed over that losing run. That is concerning as a fan, lose next week and it's 6 out of 7 , but in November then. Worse teams have had better records at this point in the season.

Worse still, I don't believe we are near changing the manager. Especially after we learned today he isn't really interested in changing the team

Todays team didnt need to change. Why did it? People were crying out for the same team to start as last week and they got it?

We were fine until the corrupt officiating stepped in.

Isn't a defence of Silva, he shouldn't be near the club, but it's a defence of today.

Watford to put the nail in the coffin?

Maybe now people will understand why our win last weekend left a sour taste in my mouth because I knew this was coming.

Seasons ticking away slowly we need to act NOW
And are you one of these fans that hope we lose that game in the hope he goes as some will want us to lose ,losing that may not mean hes gone either, they had no better chance to do it if they wanted to after those 4 defeats in a row

Could swear he had Davies up front in the last 15 mins after the double sub.

He really doesn't have a plan B which is the biggest concern. 24 games conceding first and haven't come back to win any - he doesn't know how to get back into a game.

Time's very much running out. I want to like him - but don't think anyone would be shocked to find out he was sacked after this one.
