2019/20 Marco Silva

He is treading on thin ice and I believe it going to give way very soon. I was insistent that he be given until Christmas now I think it might be earlier. Too inconsistent to be kept in the job and it seems most of the players cannot grasp what he wants from them quickly enough. Maybe his style of play is too complicated to comprehend. Don't know who the next manager would be but we have to aim bigger. Only one that sticks out to me is Mancini.

Tbf I think its more his management being poor considering the height of his career has been Watford and Hull - Richarlison, Digne etc seem to do okay for Brazil & France etc.

I would happily take Mancini or Benitez.

Todays team didnt need to change. Why did it? People were crying out for the same team to start as last week and they got it?

We were fine until the corrupt officiating stepped in.

Isn't a defence of Silva, he shouldn't be near the club, but it's a defence of today.
It did change. When Bernard went off siggurdson came on and we reverted iwobi out wide.

It's not a coincidence that this same team, same tactic has now lost 6 out of 7 games. The only time we dropped siggurdson and changed formation we won.

You can pinpoint occasional moments out and say that's why we lost out of the other 5 defeats. Either way we are losing. In isolation sure we can lose a game. Not consecutively though, not 60% of our fixtures. Quick maths tells me if we finish the season losing 60% of our fixtures that puts us on around 36 points this season.

All we are missing is a hammering and I can genuinely see one coming soon.

We might end the weekend still just three points off 7th place. It'll be four points, I think, if all the match favourites win tomorrow.

I don't know how that's possible but at least gives some hope that this season isn't a complete write-off already.

Whether we keep or sack Silva is gonna be such a key decision. Could regret it if we do and could regret it if we don't.

Fair play for trying to polish a turd.
I salute you sir as i am struggling.

We lost 6 games out of 10. He will do good if he is not relegating this team.

This is something I have said for years. I said it to friends around the Martinez time and I'm sure I said it about koeman allardyce on here.

We are always just in reaching distance of this. Our season narrative is always just win these games and we get 7th yet we never do. We could have finished 7th last season before the likes of Fulham came along.

When we were on par with wolves and leiscter last season and see them massively overtake us, that's when you have to question what direction we are going In.
