David Goodwillie was also not charged with any criminal offence but has been (rightly) hounded out of every club that’s signed him or taken him on trial. Funny how a club isn’t quite so proactive when it’s a potential world class footballing talent under scrutiny.

There’s almost certainly a clause relating to gross misconduct, which there’s more than enough evidence in the public domain, let alone the private stuff they allude to, to satisfy. I feel like it SHOULD be pretty cut and dried if they wanted to do the right thing; they just don’t.
