Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

I reckon only a small minority sell on tickets at the moment. Seems to be a much bigger issue with Arsenal, United and RS.

Last season though, you could buy tickets in our away ends on Stubhub Ireland for inflated prices before they went on sale to Blues. Something was defo going on there. Just checked and it doesn't seem to be happening this season.

Hi mate, keep me in mind for Cardiff away, as I'm in Cardiff that week but may not have enough credits to get a ticket. I currently have 2 credits so depends on cup games and if games like Soton + Brighton drop to that amount.

I go every away, I’ve been invited to events by the club for people who do and I think the figure is less than 100 over a full season anyway.

Well I don't particularly understand why they start on such high stubs, I remember a few years ago the derby in January of the 2013/2014 season when we'd played 10 away games sold out on 8 away stubs, when we played them the next season in September and they were still using the 2013/2014 credits it sold out on the same amount. So presumably if you have let's say 2700 who go to 80% of away games it would sell out on something like 15 away stubs. I'd be interested to know how many people had a certain amount of stubs, because we could work out how they're sold a little bit more. I'd just like to know how many people this season have 4 stubs, how many people have six stubs and so on.

Trying to get your head around the Derby allocation is impossible, just be glad its not done like it was about 20 years ago when it was postal allocations only, away stubs were glued to a form and you didn't have a clue where they went, its frustrating these days for this fixture but compared to what it was this is easy

The thing is with these supporters clubs is that the organisers tend to have their members on the friends and family list so if for a example someone cant go, the organiser will sell the ticket along with the space on the coach, therefore he gets to fill his coach and the person who cant go gets the credit and consequently never misses out for tickets, when we were crap last season there are loads of tickets with travel available on twitter, less so this season, I think the club also allocate some of these supporters clubs tickets for various away games. if the club actually bothered their arses and put on more than 2 coaches for every away game it would eliminate the monopoly that is currently in place. The current system simply encourages people to buy tickets and sell them on if they cba going.

Well that's what I think has been happening, because considering the fact that a lot of clubs other than Leicester, Southampton, Newcastle and Man United give us any allocation about 3000, I find it hard to understand why people have so many credits. Clubs like Burnley, Bournmouth, Watford, Palace, and a few others give us small allocations. Also a lot of the North West and Midlands clubs have gone such as Blackburn, Wigan, Bolton, Villa, West Brom and Birmingham, that aren't that far away and gave us decent allocations, which makes it even more puzzling that people have so many credits. The London and Southern games tend to sell out quite quickly, because there's lots of Scousers who moved down there for work and had kids who are die hard blues, those games were popular even before the recent demand for tickets. But I pretty ,much agree with you, I doubt that there's that many people who have the money or the time to go to most away games, I'm single without any kids and I would struggle to do it never mind if I had kids, especially with all the silly kick off times.

I think you're right it's easier nowadays to get you head round, nowadays the number of stubs doesn't go hugely up much as it did a few years ago. Whether they just do the stubs based on how well we're doing, rather than the number of people with stubs I don't know.
