As an example, Paypal offers some valuable added protection.

Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

Be very careful who you buy off lads . More will be revealed on here and twitter shortly I know someone on This thread has bumped me for 2 sheff wed and someone else for another game .

I'm glad to hear the member you refer to returned your money. That member, as you noted has been on here for years and has a lot of positive ticket exchanges reported.

We've had two confirmed instances of foul play since this thread started in 2012.

One was a non Evertonian opportunist who exploited desperation when we were at Wembley, one was yesterday.

It's exceptionally rare then that fans "rip off" other fans on here, but still - the thread title now gives the best advice - read the first post which includes;

@GrandOldTeam Share their IP address with the victims and ask them to report it to Action Fraud via here

We do it on their behalf - we've only had to do it twice since 2012;

I'm really disappointed to report @Brunoderulo has scammed a member from this thread. All the details we hold for this member, IP and email address and his bank details will be reported accordingly.

I think my post yesterday could make a few a little paranoid.

While not necessarily a bad thing, it's also important to consider context.

Just from my side my issue was with the person a paid for the tickets. I have no issue with the site .

A couple of dodgy posters shouldn’t be allowed to get the ticket thread shut as it helps blues out big time .

Same here . I’ve bought and sold plenty on here in the past . There is always a couple of tools who can spoil it

It’s mad that a few in the thread I posted outing the lad thinks it’s funny that people are getting ripped off . Everton that eh

Hi Stumps
Sorry if I offended by liking your post.
It was in support of your intention to name these "tools".
It was never intended to like the fact you had been scammed

hi all, I’m looking for 3 adult tickets or 2 adults and a 18-21 sat together for West Ham at home any help would be much appreciated thanks. Mick
