Matchday forum crashes

The forum seems to be struggling on match days.
Is this a bandwidth problem, and if it is, how much would it cost to upgrade?
Hope you don't mind me asking, but have had withdrawal symptoms for 2 hours. :lol:

Yeah apologies.

Its nothing to do with traffic, its just a coincidence that the only two times the forums have been inaccessible was unfortunately during a match. Theres actually more people on the forum now than there was during the match...

Not for me bud.
Last 2 matches has been the same for me, but it's good to know it's not bandwidth.
Sometimes logging out when not reading the forum, and also marking forums as read if we have that facility, can ease matters, as forums often have to calculate stats which can slow the forum down. Does the forum have flood control?

Don't know about anyone else but the forum has been down for about 30 minutes again for me :(

I'm thinking we might be sharing a rack with some busy weekend sites. Could we ask them to move us to a different server perhaps? :)

Dear Mr B Bastardo,

It hasnt been down for me. I think the problem lies with your hardware, being uber helpful types here at GOT Customer Services we recommend throwing some sawdust on your screen and then leave it overnight.

Been a fair few online at all times today mate.

Odd.

As for moving to another server, we're on our own server.(y)
