Matter of time...

Well my company has started a campaign to block various websites we have access to and one subsector of these websites are forums and message boards.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner but I've had the other forum I visit blocked just last night and it's only a matter of time before GOT is blocked as well.

Meaning, I won't be around as much and by the time I get on in the evenings, most of the days events will have been discussed and you'll be in REM sleep.

Either way, if you don't see TX Bill around much, it's due to circumstances beyond my control.

Often times these things are triggered by actual usage so holding that down may keep it off the radar. It can even be blocked on a per person basis in some cases, we have sites that only some people can't get to! Again, based on their usage.

Make friends with the boys who own the proxy servers!

This would be outside their firewall and while it might help at first it will get blocked as well from the usage, better to stay a la carte and keep the hits down. Those sites tend to be blocked by default anyway.

Well I understand why they're doing it (I work for a well known Wall Street firm so from a compliance standpoint it's a no brainer) but it's still frustrating.

I'll just be having to jump on in the afternoons when I get home.
