Yup I've been kicked in the teeth many times, but I've dealt out a few too, so no complaints from me. Seriously though how can they show us the plans before they've completed them. ? We can't actually fume until we have something to fume about. Mate, I'm an old skinhead, and a committed Socialist to boot , I can do anger dead good I can assure you. But age and experience have taught me that getting angry before you're fully informed can leave you looking extremely foolish.
The designs are surely well advanced by now. There must be a will to show these to fans. Let's face it, we all expected some design info back in March.

This is dragging its feet and interventions like those today have people fearing the worst.

You're ridiculous. No stadium designs are shown until they're ready and will only be tweaked minimally. You have no right at all to see them until the club decides they're good to go. Same way you have no right to see designs for a new HQ of another company, even if you like their product. If you hate the way a club is run so much, pick a different one that's more to your liking.
Ha Ha. "No right".

I beg to differ. All of us have EVERY right.

...so you're happy with him then. No room for caution.

Great.

From the architect that designed the Staples centre and Paul Brown stadium, yes mate I'm happy with him, he's an absolutely brilliant architect.

You can dislike his personality all you want, but you look incredibly warped to try question the man's business ethics or credentials like you have done,

Nobody expected design info back in March, top professionals dont throw things together quickly, they take the time required to get it right and release the info once everything is sorted

I've seen those designs and they are not appropriate for us.

As said though, he has his designs already done...else why would he be tweeting about what the stadium 'definitely wont be like'?

So let's see what he proposes as the right way forward. More to the point, let's see the club come forward and clarify the matter.

It's all way too vague and thats why we have this reaction today.

From the bits and pieces I've read, it sounds like Burmingham is the front-runner for hosting the Games. Much of the present discussion may be moot?

It takes time to design a complex build like this. Personally I didn't expect to see any plans until they were finalised and ready to submit to planning , which we were informed would be towards the end of the year. Why reveal incomplete plans , it serves no purpose. Honestly the timescale is what you should expect. I have a reasonable idea as I work in construction.
