Is it just me or does McClaren not seem to have a clue?

Or am I being naive and he is calling up the likes of Beckham and Neville so they can pad their CAP stats?

Owen? Crouch? Aren't they hurt?

What choice does he have in regards to strikers, bent, defoe and AJ will be the realistic choices, beckham is still class and neville is and has always been a replacement just in case player.

Ok, Bent, Defoe and AJ were fine choices but hten I could have made those. Owens is still rehabing. Becks hasn't even played for his club yet. Ok, so maybe it's a friendly and a chance to try some things out or give some vets like Nevs and Becks a CAP to pad their total but seriously, every time this guy opens his mouth he comes off like a prat.
