TINTIN
Principal photography has started on 'The Secret of the Unicorn' a motion captured 3D CGI movie, I'm guessing will use the same processes as Beowulf.
Steven Spielberg directing (I kid you not) Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Jamie Bell and Andy Serkis in the first and Peter Jackson directing the second (Red Rackhams Treasure), it looks like the famous Belgian will be taking over from Potter and Co at the box office for the next decade.
Bell, Serkis, Jackson and Spielberg on set

MACHETE
Robert Rodriguez's tounge in cheek mock trailer became so popular Machete the Movie is currently in pre-production at Troublemaker Studios. Starring Rodriguez favourate Danny Trejo and rumoured to be co starring Lindsay Lohan and Steven Segal. Currently working on his segment of Sin City 2 while promoting his latest kid pic 'Shorts' Rodriguez is also slated to be developing the live action version of 'The Jetsons', the futuristic horror flick 'Nerverackers' and the adaptation of the highly successful 'Madman' comic series.

SURROGATES
The Jonathon Mostow (T3) directed Bruce Willis sci-fi actioner opening in cinemas this October looks pretty good. Set in the future, people can operate their own Surrogate, a perfect robot version of themselves. They interact with other people via their Surrogates and like Robots, can do anything. FBI agent Willis must venture from the safety of his own armchair to investigate the murder of the inventor of the Surrogate system (think I Robot v the Matrix v Blade Runner).

The hardest working man with the least amount of talent in Hollywood has seven ball tearing blocbusters lined up.
13 - A naive young man assumes a dead man's identity and finds himself embroiled in an underground world of power, violence, and chance where men gamble behind closed doors on the lives of other men. Stars Mickey Rourke, 50 Cent, Ray Liotta and Ray Winstone.
The Expendables- A team of mercenaries head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator. Also starring Stallone, Jet Li, Dolph Lundren, Eric Roberts, Swarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Charisma Carpenter, and Mickey Rourke. You can't make this up.
Pretty, Baby, Machine - Rourke co-starring again? Rumoured line-up icludes Ian McShane, Gary Oldman. 1930's Gangster flick with Pretty Boy Floyd, Baby Face, John Dillinger et al shooting places/people up probably.
Blitz- A tough cop is dispatched to take down a serial killer who has been targeting police officers
The Mechanic- Post 9/11 apocalyptic Spy thriller
